A signal worth wearing.
Изящная is a Tokyo-based lingerie and bodysuit boutique. Each piece chosen for how it sits against real skin, not how it photographs on a mannequin.

Contact usA bit more
By autumn 2026, the collection has grown to around sixty pieces at any one time, still rotating seasonally. Mira still tests every new style before it goes live. The boutique operates entirely online, which keeps the overhead low and the curation tight. If you want to understand the story behind us more fully, there is a longer piece in the journal. The current collection reflects what Mira finds genuinely wearable right now, in this season, in this city.
I tested every piece myself before it went online. That has not changed. Why Изящная
- Fabric that earns its place
- Every bodysuit in the collection is assessed by hand before it goes online. If the fabric pills after two washes or the gusset snaps loose, it does not make the cut.
- Sizing that tells the truth
- We publish actual garment measurements alongside size labels, because a Japanese S and a European S are not the same thing. No guessing, no returns from confusion.
- Seasonal curation, not a warehouse
- The collection rotates with the seasons. Autumn 2026 is live now. We carry what we believe in at this moment, not everything we have ever stocked.
- Lingerie and shapewear, together
- Some days you want lace for its own sake. Other days you want the smooth line under a fitted blazer. We stock both, and we are honest about which does which.
- One person behind the inbox
- When you write to us, Mira replies. Not a bot, not a team member reading from a script. If you have a fit question, ask it plainly and you will get a plain answer.
- Discreet packaging, always
- Every order ships in a plain outer box with no branding on the outside. The invoice inside uses the boutique name only, nothing descriptive.

Styling a Velvet Bodysuit for Autumn in Japan
Velvet is a fabric that reads as formal in photographs and feels completely different in person. The autumn 2026 Velvet Touch Bodysuit at Изящная was introduced specifically because velvet works as both a layering piece and a standalone top, depending on how you wear it. These are some practical notes on how to get the most out of it through the Japanese autumn season.

Buying a lingerie bodysuit online in Japan is a more specific challenge than buying most clothing. The garment sits against skin, covers several body points simultaneously, and needs to fit at the bust, torso length, and gusset all at once. A size label tells you almost none of that. This guide explains what to measure, what to ask, and what to look for in a product listing before you commit.

The word shapewear covers several garments. A light-smoothing bodysuit and a firm-compression shaper are both called shapewear, but they do different things and feel very different after four hours of wear. This piece explains the two compression levels stocked at Изящная and what each one is actually suited for.

Answer three questions and we will point you toward the pieces in the collection most likely to work for your situation.
"Mira Sato spent four years as a buyer for a mid-size fashion retailer in Shibuya before founding Изящная in 2019. She trained in textile assessment during a six-month programme at a fabric trade school in Osaka, which is where she developed the habit of evaluating garments by hand feel before anything else. The gap she kept seeing in the Tokyo market, between conservative basics and theatrical statement pieces, was what finally pushed her to start something of her own. Outside the boutique, she collects vintage Japanese fashion magazines from the 1980s and reads them for the cut lines, not the styling."
Common questions
Q.How do I know which size to order if I am between sizes?
Each product listing includes actual garment measurements in centimetres, not just size labels. If you are between sizes, check the bust and underbust measurements first, since that is where most fit issues originate. If you are still unsure after checking, send a message through the contact form and Mira will advise based on the specific piece you are considering.
Q.What is the return policy if the fit is not right?
Unworn, unwashed items with tags attached can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Because of the nature of the products, items that have been worn against skin cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Please check the garment measurements carefully before ordering. If something arrives with a manufacturing defect, that is a different matter entirely and we will sort it out promptly.
